The Serra Club works closely with Bishop Dennis Schnurr and the office of vocations for the Diocese of Duluth. (www.dioceseduluth.org).
Serra Club Members meet twice monthly year–round. All priests, deacons, and religious sisters and brothers have an open invitation to join us. The Executive Committee meets monthly on the second Wednesday of every month.
In addition to our meetings, which include time for prayer, fellowship and a speaker on vocations, we also sponsor other opportunities for members to support our priests, deacons, religious sisters and brothers, and other Catholics committed to a life of service in the Church. These include:
- Visits to seminaries
- 31 Club (members make a pledge to attend mass once a month to pray for vocations)
- Consecrated Life Event (spring)
- Picnic for the seminarians (summer)
- Christmas dinner and social for all priests and deacons (winter)
In addition, Serrans are available to assist their parish communities in developing vocation activities.
Our Serra club meets on the first and third Monday of every month at the Pickwick restaurant, 508 E Superior St, Duluth, 55802. We would pleased to have you join us. Please feel free to contact the Serra club at SerraClubDuluth@aol.com.
